Lookouts for Slack

What needs you today, in one Slack message.

Lookouts watches every Linear and Jira project you lead and sends a short DM each morning with what's blocked, slipping or waiting on you. Snooze or handle items right from the message.

You'll be asked to sign in to Lookouts first.

A morning digest by DM

One short message at the time you choose: the few things across all your projects that need you, ranked by urgency.

Act without leaving Slack

Every item has Open, Snooze 2d and Mark handled buttons. Handled items stay quiet until something changes.

Urgent alerts, only when it matters

A real-time DM when urgent work has no owner or a blocker threatens a milestone. Never in your quiet hours.

Private to you

Lookouts only messages you. It doesn't post in channels or read your Slack messages.

What Lookouts can do in your Slack

Two bot permissions, nothing else. Lookouts can't read your channels or messages.

chat:writeSend you the digest and alerts as messages from Lookouts.
im:writeOpen a direct message with you so the digest arrives privately.

Removing Lookouts

In Lookouts, go to Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect next to Slack. You can also remove the app from Slack under Apps → Lookouts → Remove app. Either way, Lookouts stops messaging you right away.
